qiskit_noise_learning.aer_executor.AerRuntimeJob

class qiskit_noise_learning.aer_executor.AerRuntimeJob(qasm_simulator: AerSimulator, program: QuantumProgram, noise_dict: dict[str, PauliLindbladMap] | None = None, angle_decimals: int = 5, warn_absent: bool = True, seed: int | None = None)

GitHub

Bases: object

Job object returned by AerExecutor.run().

The program is executed eagerly on construction; the result is available immediately when result() is called.

Parameters

  • qasm_simulator – The Aer simulator to run on.
  • program – The quantum program to execute.
  • noise_dict – A map from barrier label refs to Pauli-Lindblad noise maps.
  • angle_decimals – Rounding precision for gate angles (in units of π/2).
  • warn_absent – If True (default), warn when a tagged barrier has no entry in noise_dict.
  • seed – Root seed for this job’s randomness. If None, one is drawn nondeterministically; either way the value used is available as seed.

__init__

__init__(qasm_simulator: AerSimulator, program: QuantumProgram, noise_dict: dict[str, PauliLindbladMap] | None = None, angle_decimals: int = 5, warn_absent: bool = True, seed: int | None = None)

Methods

Column 1
Column 2
__init__(qasm_simulator, program[, ...])
job_id()Return the unique job ID.
result(*_, **__)Return the result of the program execution.

Attributes

Column 1
Column 2
seedThe root seed this job's randomness was derived from.

job_id

job_id() → str

Return the unique job ID.

seed

Type: int

The root seed this job’s randomness was derived from.

Constructing another job with this seed and the same program reproduces this job’s result, including when the job itself was created without a seed.

For a job created by AerExecutor.run() this is the seed that the executor drew for this particular run, which is not its AerExecutor.root_seed — the two are not interchangeable.

result

result(*_, **__) → QuantumProgramResult

Return the result of the program execution.
